Each 2026 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coin comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and plastic flips for individual coins. Multiples are housed in acrylic tubes of 20 coins or boxes of 500 coins. Each box holds 25 tubes inside.

Elephants maintain complex relationships with their savanna neighbors, from symbiotic partnerships with oxpecker birds that feast on parasites while serving as early warning systems, to competitive interactions with hippos at shared water sources. Lions occasionally prey on young or vulnerable elephants, leading to intense confrontations where adult elephants form protective circles around their calves.

On the obverse of each 2026 Somalia Silver Elephant Coin appears the Somali national coat of arms. The design centers on a shield patterned with horizontal stripes and a single star. Leopards flank the shield on both sides, while crossed palm branches and spears decorate the space beneath it.

The reverse of the 2026 1 oz Silver Elephant Coins debuts a new image of life on the savanna. At a watering hole, a zebra drinks as two African bush elephants advance across the plains toward the water, backed by a mountain range on the horizon.
