Description
2026 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coin (BU)
The Chinese Panda bullion coin series is one of the most anticipated annual releases. Introduced in gold in 1982 and silver in 1983, the Chinese Panda was the first major bullion coin series to feature new design elements each year. While the image of the Temple of Heaven has remained a constant on these coins since 1982, the Giant Panda designs have changed with each release. Today, 2026 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coins are available.
Coin Highlights:
- Comes in acrylic capsules, trays of 30 coins, or Monster Boxes of 600 coins!
- 42nd year for the Silver Panda!
- Maximum mintage of 5,000,000 coins!
- Contains 30 grams (.9645 troy oz) of .999 pure silver in BU condition.
- The face value of 10 Yuan is backed by the Chinese government.
- On the obverse are two pandas seated close to one another near a small pond.
- The reverse features the Temple of Heaven’s Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests.
Giant pandas are largely solitary creatures, and unlike many mammals, they do not form lasting pair bonds between males and females. Adult pandas typically live alone in their mountain forest territories, coming together only briefly during the mating season. This solitary nature reflects their bamboo-based diet, which provides relatively low nutritional value and requires them to spend up to 14 hours per day feeding, leaving little time or energy for social interactions beyond what is necessary for reproduction.
All 2026 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coins are available here in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are individually packaged in acrylic capsules. Multiples are available in either trays of 30 coins or Monster Boxes of 600 coins.
On the obverse of 2026 Chinese Silver Pandas, you’ll find a depiction of two Giant Pandas. This year’s design shows the two seated close to one another, with one seemingly leaning its head down close to the other, as if listening to a secret. The background field features bamboo shoots with detailed rocks and a small pond in the foreground.
The reverse of the 2026 30 Gram Silver Panda Coin features an image of the Temple of Heaven complex. The building shown here is the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, the central structure within the complex. The Temple of Heaven stands as one of Beijing’s most magnificent architectural treasures, a sprawling complex where Ming and Qing dynasty emperors once performed sacred rituals to ensure bountiful harvests.
