She is wrapped in the American flag, extending her right arm forward and holding oak and laurel branches in her left.
The reverse of the 2026 American Silver Eagle showcases Emily Damstra’s bald eagle design. Introduced in 2020 and released beginning in 2021, the eagle is shown descending in flight with raised wings as its talons clutch a large oak branch.
